Work Experience

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center
At the Hutch I am a technician for the Comparative Medicine Department. My daily tasks include animal care, submit health reports to the Vet team, and assist research for the Dudakov and Koch labs. This role is incredibly dynamic and it's an extensive learning experience through seminars, team meetings, and additional trainings. I am able not only to assist to different research techniques but also learn concepts around cellular, molecular, human, and animal science. While also being informed in policy regulations for lab protocols. My current training not only extend my understanding on animal research done in lab settings, but also on techniques used in field work as well and in the wild.

Ocean Memory Project
As one of the Co-Leaders, my responsibilities with OMP are various. Mainly I support the organization of both In-Person and Virtual workshops by leading transportations logistics, the creation of an agenda and the production of presentation materials. Currently, I am working with my team in editing scientific grants and maintaining communication among members.

Northwest Dive Adventures
At NWDA I gained in-depth knowledge of scuba gear, became a certified Rescue Diver, and assisted instructors and dive master's with classes and public events. Plus, I also organized diving events (Women’s Dives, Discover Scuba Diving, and Dive Against Debris) while ensuring safety and gear maintenance.
